2013 Golden Globe awards

The 2013 Golden Globe Awards, which was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, aired live Sunday on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel.


The Hollywood Foreign Press Association presented the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards winners last night in recognition of excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign.
"Les Miserables" had the most wins, scoring awards for Best Comedy or Musical; Hugh Jackman for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical; and Anne Hathaway as Best Supporting Actress.

Ben Affleck scooped up wins in both Best Director and Best Picture, Drama for "Argo."
Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor in a Drama for "Lincoln," while Jessica Chastain won Best Actress for "Zero Dark Thirty." Newcomer Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress in a Comedy or Music for "Silver Linings Playbook."
"Django Unchained" scored wins in Best Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino and Best Supporting Actor for Christoph Waltz.
For the small screen, HBO's "Girls" won big with Lena Dunham for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical and Best TV Comedy or Musical. "Homeland" on Showtime also won Best Drama, Best Actor for Damian Lewis and Best Actress for Claire Danes. "Game Chanel" also picked up wins for Best Miniseries or TV movie, Ed Harris for supporting actor in a series, miniseries or movie and Julianne Moore for an actress in a miniseries or TV movie.
